A one day seminar with Dr Ross J Todd
This seminar will explore the complex dynamics of engaging school communities in Guided Inquiry initiatives, particularly looking at how teams and collaborative partnerships have implemented Guided Inquiry in their communities.
This seminar will focus on Guided Inquiry in practice through:
- reviewing existing research, in particular recent Australian studies conducted in New South Wales and Victoria.
- demonstrating practical strategies to build effective teams across the school
- providing strategies for engaging the school community in Guided Inquiry strategies
- presentations by two experienced practitioners
- providing opportunities to question and discuss the practical issues of implementing Guided Inquiry across the school
- an opportunity for small group planning supported by Dr. Todd and experienced practitioners.
